People with offline/outside/normal jobs and friends and stuff would probably see my lifestyle as unhealthy, but I was born a hermit and it suits me perfectly. I sit at my computer all day, get out of the house only to stock up on food and nicotine. If I could do that online and get them delivered to my house by a robot or something... well, one can always dream. I had a couple of friends when I was younger, but they were baggage. I got fed up with having to come up with an excuse every time they wanted to get together. I meet my family once or twice a year and that is more than enough.
Now when I finally got the lifestyle I always wanted, it has got to the point where I get highly anxious when I have to make a phone call or meet people. Especially new people. Back when I was in school and was forced to interact with people every day, I had fairly good people skills. Now I can't read them at all and that makes meeting people even more difficult. Not to mention I have lost a good quarter of my formerly wide Finnish vocabulary due to only speaking English at home and with my online acquaintances for over two years.
