Well SOME good came out of this thread... I run straight and gay sites and now I know that AWW is no place to do business (I assume you own it? Or just an employee?). It's a good thing to know your position.
And I'm sure a few people will make sure your sponsors understand your position as well. Your front page:
quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
aww Associates:
AdultRevenueService
AdultWebmasterRevenue
BigPlayers
ContentLotto
LightSpeedCash
MaxCash
SobeCams
SobeGirl
Stiffy Cash
TrafficCashGold
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And I see buttons for WayPay, FlashCash, DialersWorld and others.
I don't trust pornographers who are homophobic, delicate and quick to advocate censorship of gay content. And I don't trust those who would advertise with them. And I know I am not alone in this amongst those who move traffic and select sponsors and services - particularly gay and mixed-bi traffic.
I might have to change some of my banner rotations over the holidays. Your "associates" and DirtyDollar, FlashCash and ARS - all buttons in your rotation - do they share your point of view? Perhaps they could post their positions in this thread - for everyone's clarification.
I'm thinking it might be a mistake for a webmaster resource site to take the position you have - it might have a negative effect on your site's sponsors. But I could be wrong. We'll have to let the marketplace decide and wait and see I guess.
