I didn't know about the VBSEO no adult policy.. kinda stupid IMO. If you'd consider using phpBB though, check out the mods at PHPBB Seo. They pretty much do the same thing as VBSEO, they just aren't wrapped up in a nice, neat package. Plus they're free.
