I decided by 2003 that I had learned my lesson and I would only vote Democrat. I cannot afford four more years of government like we have now, and I have seen no commitment that John McCain's vision of the next four years will be any different than George W. Bush.
I cannot deny that anyone who voted against John Kerry in 2004 has deserved everything they've gotten. While Kerry would have been mediocre at best, his administration would have looked like a golden age in comparison to George W. Bush's legacy of pain and poverty.
So my vote is for Obama, and I've got five rounds of 00 buckshot that say I'm not changing my mind for no one.
