Shouldn't the point here be that, If you have a better business model, then use it, and garner more of the market share? YOU are free to not do business with programs whose pricing you disagree with, just as surfers are also free to chose.
I would think that since you know better regarding the EU market, that you would view the situation as a wonderful opportunity to do a lot of business for yourself, rather than a reason to get mad at someone else for doing it differently!
Maybe this is a little outside the box thinking here, but when I see other companies doing things that I think are counterproductive, or bad for business, then I go the other direction, and try to take the market share from them by doing it better. I certainly DON'T get mad at them for doing something that brings more customers to me by contrast!
