php isnt going anywhere.
iv coded in a number of server side languages over the years, and its got 3 things going for it:
a) free!
b) really easy
c) huge amount of current webapps / websites use it
Until something easier to code in, aswell as free comes along, php keeps its throne.
And yea, we could argue about whats easier or not, but speaking from personal experience, its easier coding in php then in perl, ruby or asp. I cant comment on any of ther other langs.
