This is what pretty much everyone would suggest...Wordpress, and then Joomla.
Both are open source, which (like everything in life) has its ups and downs...They are very "cutting edge" and have all sorts of cool gadgets and gizmos, but no support. Yes...There are forums (like this one and others), but there is no guarantee that the answer you receive from a posed question will be the correct one, if answered at all!

), but, if you are not terribly savvy regarding html and do not feel comfortable making some tweaks here and there, then you may want to explore pay options since they would provide more support.
