So I watched the documentary "A Very British Gangster" and I got to say that the main character, Dominic Noonan, was really unique. A crime family head who is openly homosexual? Can you imagine a Gambino, Genovese or Bonanno family head professing their preference for men?
I've never seen a documentary filmed in the way this one was. They used Jimmy Jib cranes and Steadicams to give the documentary a movie feel. Many times I felt I was watching a big budget movie, with wide sweeping shots of Manchester and overhead shots of people walking through the alleys and into buildings.
What did you think of the documentary?
