Insane. I know in Milwaukee, WI bus drivers are paid an insane amount of money too (for what they do). Many of them bitch about safety - and it is a growing concern, BUT, it is a well known part of the job now. If you don't like it, do something else. Besides, they are already compensated for it - I believe they start out at more than police officers and fire fighters.
