Growing up we had French exchange students living with us and they talked trash about the US constantly. It really pissed me off. They were teenagers and were already taught to hate America and its people. Apparently they grow up learning about why they should hate the US and what they think makes them so much better than us.
I've always just blamed it on an inferiority complex, but I dunno.
