Huh, go figure... I thought Chris himself said he would get rid of them... I never see it because of NoScript, but I know when I looked at a gallery in IE once, that annoyed the fuck out of me...
I don't know but i'm sure the majority of surfers absolutely HATE IT when they don't feel in control of their "internet" (meaning their browser).
