I think you are the one missing the point here. The mormons and the fundamentalistic christians are showing a great deal of hypocracy by buying porn when they use half of their lives trying to ban it.
Sometimes the preachers aren't so holy.
Pressure begets back pressure. The more they fight it and condems it, the more they crave it, and they crave it bad enough to buy it.
A good (but horrible) example is the extreme overweight of sexual assults against minors in the Catholic church. It's the inevitable result of extreme suppression of the human needs.
