If you're looking at third party processors, the costs are a lot more. The set up fees may be lower, but 15% processing plus a 10% reserve is standard.
On a $24.95 membership, the comparison would be:
Netbilling (2.5% + $0.75) - $1.37 total fees
3rdParty (IBill, CCBill etc.) - $3.74 plus $2.50 reserve that you can't touch for 6 months
If you have a decent sized member base, the money you save would easily cover the start up fees.
