are people are still stuck on that the only way to make money is to get people to a site, get them to click on the affiliate link and join. Surfers these days are way more savvy then they were 5 years ago. Conversion rates were high because people didnt know that there was so many torrent sites, tube sites, newz and free sites to download content from... it was only napster, limewire and old fashioned IRC.
I was thought to be a geek when i was in college because i know how to use mIRC, and even before that, AOL chat rooms.
Eh, times have changed and its time to adapt or die IMO
