i had also heard about health problems and short life spans. Two of my oldest dogs have died and I have one left who is very old and is going to go sooner than later

i've always wanted a bulldog, but quite frankly don't want a dog who will kill my wallet at the vet and cost me a fortune for 8 or less years of life.
