consider that statement very carefully when you take into account that 49% of the torrent traffic on the pirate bay is TV SHOWS.
And another 32% of all movies torrents are old enough that they aired ON TV.
Lots of people are using torrents/thepiratebay exactly like a VCR (like me)
eztv.it which only shows tv shows/tv content on their list uses the pirate bay as their tracker and so do a lot of tv show related torrent sites.
