I use human hair to deter crawling things, many rodents and such stay away from plants that have human hair at base. My wife puts her hair on all the sprouts we have outside too, otherwise field mice or any other countless rodents would come up and just eat the tips of all our sprouts lol... its fun nonetheless.

I like the CD idea, i am willing to try anything. Shit I got fake bumblebee nests up to keep wasps away, might as well try CDs or something to keep birds away lol

I guess I should add, I am trying to go organic, which is why I dont use pesticides and traps. We got caterpillars and grasshoppers and june bugs cralwing every night too lol but i refuse to spray my garden with pesticides...
