It really is a question of chicken vs. the egg. I know al lot of women that started on the escort/dancer side and moved over as a business decision to make more money. There are more that go from porn to escorting to make up income gaps when shooting tails off.
Either way, it is usually tied to an increase in income either way.

That is 100% correct Michael. You'd think that some of the people on GFY would have some knowledge of marketing, but in this thread it appears that only you and I do.
CM gets offers via email everyday. Most recently was an offer for her to go on a world cruise with a six figure payday for her time. She certainly wouldn't get these kind of offers if she wasn't a pornstar.
So it's not a case of either/or, but rather a symbiotic relationship between the two. If you gain some notoriety as a porn star and develop a big fan base, then you can make a lot more money at the strip club and/or you will get outrageous money offers for sex BECAUSE you are a pornstar and have some level of fame.
