Does anybody else notice that he actually lost a court battle because he didn't want a federal bailout for S.C.?
I've seen this a few times now in stories about governors and some companies as well.
They refused the federal bailout money and were then FORCED to take it against their will.
You guys realize that once the feds hand out OUR tax money they then own the ass of whomever they give it too (witness the President firing the head of General Motors a few months ago).
That's what troubles me about this story. A guy fucking around and hauling ass down to South America to get laid? That's not a big deal. Hell Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson did it all the time.
But to have the federal govt. FORCE you to take federal taxpayer money so they can control you and if you try to refuse it have the courts force you is just wrong. I don't know where it's all going. But the federal govt. is definitely moving to completely consolidate whatever tiny bits of power they didn't already have.
