You should!!! In today's world, you can basically research the type of dog you would like, one that would fit your personality, and find a rescue place that saves that breed of dog. There are a lot of great dogs out there who need to be saved and loved. Of course the pound always has the best loving dogs. Poor Larsies was in doggie jail for 6 months. He is amazing!!!
