i'd probably be a bit standoffish as well if some random person was asking to buy "my name" and do god knows what with it.
not saying you were gonna do "god knows what", but i'm sure you could see where one would be protective of such a thing, especially in this industry
met her a few times. she was nothing but cool imo, but didn't really kick it with her to defend her, so who knows
