But that has nothing to do with you paying $300-500 additional on your health insurance simply for getting hit by an uninsured drunk driver. Get full coverage for uninsured motorist with your auto policy and go with a decent health plan and save yourself that extra money it appears you are paying monthly. Have you taken the time to get some new quotes from other carriers at this time? Unless you have some kind of medical condition, I just don't see why your premiums are so high.
