there are definitely more conspiracy nutjobs these days - it's an industry in and of itself now. the Internet is a huge factor, little threads of truth get exaggerated and blown up into conspiracy theories and to a conspiracy nutjob they become more than theory - they become fact, it's like a giant game of broken telephone. sadly those in power are so corrupt that conspiracy theories are very easy to conjure up these days and even sceptical people like myself no longer completely dismiss them out of hand.
