Your body stops producing testosterone, naturally, as a "result" of your "life style."
I understand some people have "real" medical reasons to take this, the rest of you are on drugs.
P.S. For the people interested, your body naturally produces everything you need. Change your diet and work out more, the results will be FAR more beneficial than a drug ever could be. Health is about balance....

That's true, for young people.
Not true for guys my age. A man stops producing testosterone early on. Not completely stops, but begins to stop. A man who is 60 will often have less testosterone in his system than a 19 year old woman.
I'm 47 years old...and my body just doesn't produce enough test on it's own to make me feel worth a shit. I don't know if it's because people just aren't supposed to live as long as medical science has made possible or what. (remember the average lifespan was in the 30's a few centuries back) But for whatever reason, I don't think a man should have to grow older looking and feeling like shit.
If I can replace the NATURAL hormones that my body produced as a young man and feel that energy, power, and mental clarity again...then why shouldn't I use testosterone therapy?
I'd rather have the muscular body I have now (I work out everyday at the gym) with a hard cock....than to be what I see most men my age look like: they look like they could be my grandfather. lol I don't want to end up soft, fat bellied, out of shape, no dick, and dying from a dozen little ailments brought on by lack of physical activity that can be directly attributed to lack of drive and weakness of body brought on by a lack of testosterone in the system.
A man who is low on testosterone simply can't just go to the gym and get in shape. It doesn't work that way.
Not getting into the mental aspects of it...just from a physiological standpoint... a guy who has low testosterone CAN'T get in shape. Their muscle tissue won't grow back fast enough after breaking it down during excercise. And since muscle burns fat...they will continue to get fatter. And the fatter they get, the less ability they have to excercise.
It's a vicious circle. Testosterone therapy can break that cycle by giving you back the necessary hormones that you are missing as you age.
As far as guys doing hardcore bodybuilding...yeah they are overdoing it and taking a lot of drugs to get what they want. But that should be their business...not the government or law enforcement. Fucking govt. needs to stay out of people's lives and go back to working FOR us instead of arresting people for bodybuilding. Or partying. Or anything else they can dream up to control people's lives. </rant>
