Webcams.com how to: Hosted galleries if you don't have them already

Why go manual when you can use an automatic process and take the free hosted galleries through our XML export feature.
It will take you about 1 minute to make the XML dump link and let?s say 20 minutes to parse the content through an XML parser on your pages.

Let?s start!

You should be in the affiliate area now, click on Promo Tools link from the menu bar.
Look for Standard promotional materials. Here you will find the Free Hosted Galleries link which will take you to the free hosted gallery page where you can generate the galleries in one of the three shapes that are available for exporting the results.

The first box let's you decide which type of gallery (Movie Gallery or Gallery Picture) you want. Let's say that we go ahead with the Movie Gallery .
The second step consists of choosing a template from the existing four templates.

In the third step you will select the category according to the niche of your site, or you can select all categories if you don?t have a specific one.
The fourth and the most important for this tutorial is how to export the results. There are three available options: Gallery List, RSS FEED/XML and Delimited File.
We will choose the RSS FEED/XML as desired method for displaying the results.

Right below you will see four more select boxes with available options for the xml file that have appeared.
The first one give us the opportunity to chose the number of feeds that will be shown in the xml file. Let?s select 50 which is the maximum number.
The second one, RSS Description Format, the most important value we select here is the #pics/movies Description due to the fact that we can gain a little bit more text on our pages right near the thumb and the link.

The fourth is Thumbnail in RSS entries. If we select yes we will have the path of the image for each entry from the feed. If we select no, the feed will not provide us the path of the image.
The fifth is RSS Entry Format. We will also select the first option which is Short title with long description.

The fifth step consists in choosing the payout type.
Of course we will finally set a customer pricing in the sixth step.
If we have selected one specific niche and we would like to create more galleries with other niches, just add the name of the specified niche selected in the Code1 text box. This will help us figure out which gallery converts as we will be able to see that in the stats due to the SubID linking code. We will basically have a separate stat for the traffic coming from this particular gallery.

Now the final step is to click on Display results button twice.
You will now see the link of the RSS FEED. However you will also need a parser if you don?t have one yet. You can solve this problem by typing "php xml parser" on any search engine and skimming through the results.

My advice is to use the simple XML parser which can be found on the php.net site, with a lot of instructions and examples that will help you get through with it.
Once you have parsed the xml file you?ll be able to fully customize all the parsed elements, and you will have a nice section with hosted movie galleries in your site.
By the way the $100 payout is still out there, and now you have another way of reaching it.

Hope to be helpful!
