how much to charge for wp installations?
I've been thinking about getting in contact with local businesses and offering to set them up with a website. This would include getting them a domain name and hosting, setting up WP including a decent theme and any reasonable customizations they need that I'm capable of, and giving them some instruction on using Wordpress. Maybe even submit a few articles for them to directories or getting them set up with a Twitter/Facebook/whatever account for their business if they don't have one.
I live in a small but growing town and as far as I know there's no one around doing this so I'm thinking there would be a lot of opportunity for some extra cash - especially with people like real estate agents.
I'm sure there are people here doing the same thing so I was wondering what you guys charged or what would be a fair price. I was thinking around $300 might be a good place to start. Any thoughts?
