Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to my fellow Canucks and happy Columbus Day weekend to my friends down south
I have a question for GFY:
What makes a turkey dinner a proper turkey dinner? Sweet potato casserole? Gravy? Brussels sprouts? Any favourite recipes to share?
For me I love my mashy spuds. Half red and half white or golden nugget potatoes: boiled, then mixed up with sauteed garlic, butter, diced yellow onion, salt, pepper, thyme and cream. YUM.
