depends what you do with the money. If it is invested and makes him a lot more than smart move. If he blows it on crap or bad business decissions then yeah, bad decission.

Little rule i learned from someone a lot more knowledgeable and successful than me... its great to sell things and make a profit, but if you have monthly income coming in from something then don't sell unless you have something secure lined up that will make you more a month then what you are making now. thats the jist of it. basically meaning, don't sell something if you just going to put the money in the bank, blow it, etc. etc...
