selling it would net the playboy owners a few million and it would be a potential cash cow for the new owners but they would still have to earn the buy money back.

Jesus christ you are thick and hung up on the term cash cow. Who the fuck cares if it is called a cash cow, or pink cow. The point being if they are losing money on all of their other assets/companies and they are making profit on this one, then it will fucking matter to them and it is important.
