Here's a post from the other side of the issue:
And it is their country. We do not compel you to accept our polygamy, why is it so important for us to accept your homosexuality? Why are you so quick to accuse us of your practises such as "final solutions"? Why are so eager to offload your sins on other people? Wy do you insinuate that we are about to institute concentration camps? Why is all this melodramatic association of Africans with the worst behaviour of Europeans so important to you? Why are you trying to paint a negative picture of Africans? You know there will be no final solution because Uganda has never been and will not be last destination of European homosexuality. And if anyone wanted to lock up homosexuals in Uganda, you know that a few police cells would suffice given the small number of European homosexuals living in that country so please quit exaggerating issues. And anyway, the buggers would simply move to another African country, Kenya being the most likely, to continue their nonsense, unless of course all African countries collectively corrected their laws.

Do you agree with that? Isn't human rights a UNIVERSAL issue and people can't claim a cultural or historical defense?
