Do you get snow like that every year or just getting part of this big storm?
Where I live we usually get about 3-4 days of snow every winter and it pretty much shuts everything down. Last winter during Christmas we had about 10 days of snow and it was cool to see, but not fun to exist in. They don't have enough plows or gear to clear the roads so they just plow the main highways. Getting to a major highway was an adventure.
