We are in the midst of one of the largest changes that the online adult industry has ever seen, imho. This could be called "trimming of the fat" X10. It's a mix of the global recession, web 2.0, changing media markets, technology and oversaturation.
2010 will be ...interesting.
But running an index and directory, I will say that of the 364 affiliate programs I was a part of in Jan 2009, 49 of those have went bye, bye., as of today. I have never seen so much turnover... ever.
