I remember going up north to work on the tracks a few years back in this one town, and the company had to give us a safety briefing. I went in thinking it was going to be the typical wear your ppe, watch for pinch points, yadda yadda safety drawl. The whole crew wound up getting a half hour talking to from some county medical nruse about how we should not be "mingling" with the locals because there was like a 50%+ outbreak of syphillis in the sexually active population, lol...
