I rarely disagree on anything you say, mainly cos the subject is usually a nice set of jubblies, but here I have to disagree. Religion and the State in France are very separated entities. It is illegal to display any religious marks, be it crosses, headscarves, veils anything in any public building, schools and workplace included.
Shame the same cannot be said for the UK, where the head of the State is the head of the Church.
