everyone has their opinions and personal attacks on someone's opinion is a waste of time. My own personal belief and how I vote and who I support on this topic is based pretty much on my opinion that a nation's health should not be a 'for profit' model.
By basing it on a profit margin you guarantee a lower standard for health and or an increasing cost/benefit gap. For those that can afford health care and are healthy the system works wonderful and they see no reason to fuck with it.
But those that cannot afford health insurance or see their costs sky rocket because of poor health know that the system is broken and completely dysfunctional.
I have health insurance, and I am very lucky to have it because I went over a decade without it, and even with it I cannot afford the surgery I need. The co-pay and 80/20 would kill me financially. So from my point of view, needing surgery on both eyes, the current health care system is FUBAR
That is my reality and the sad thing is there are millions of people way worse off then I am
