When the USA tied the game with seconds left I was torn. In one sense I of course wanted Canada to win right there, but I also wanted to see some OT hockey between these two teams. So I was in a small way glad they scored, as the little OT we did see was so worth it. I was in a room full of people watching on the big screen and the tension in that room was in-credible.
When the Iginla-to-Crosby goal happened all hell broke loose.
I stayed an extra 3 hours and watched the closing ceremonies before heading home, just to make sure all the flag-waving calamity on the downtown streets had cleared.
