This has been tried before and it has failed. For years I have lobbyed with the FSC in Sacramento and can tell you that in past years the legislature has been very open and friendly to the industry and as often received support from certain members.

However the two issues that most concerned legislators and staff members were health care for the industry and treating the performers better. They understand that if drive the industry out of California the state will suffer.

But there is a breaking point. Are we there yet... no one knows.

Here's the problem though, its not legal to film in any other state besides New Hampshire and the industry wont move there. And Florida is not adult friendly as we have seen in several cases now. Nevada might be an option but even the brothels have stringent restrictions on them and some might soon be fading into the desert as the counties they are in continue to grow.
