The reason futbol/football/soccer is the most watched sport is because all the poor countries grow up with it being the easiest to play; you can pretty much play anywhere and just need a ball (and feet).
That said, it's a sport WHICH ACTUALLY ENCOURAGES faking injuries and crying like a little girl (to draw an advantage), which I think pretty much sums it up.
I don't want to watch grass grow while a bunch of men flop around on the ground, hitting the net and forcing a save one out of every ten shots. I'll stick to hockey, thank you very much.
