When I get a girls number while she is standing there I text her so that she has my number and I tell her...."I really would like to see you again soon but I am not going to be like these other assholes who call you all the time and turn into stalkers....if you really would like to see me again call me and we can grab a bite or something."
This has NEVER not worked for me and it helps establish the relationship early. I have been dating my current girl for a few years and now when she says "Why dont you ever call me?" I say "I told you the first time I met you that I wasnt going to call you" ;)
