My point being that one shouldn't have to appreciate how anything is made.. if its not interesting and not original it's not a good film. I make documentary films.
Because of my experience I have an appreciation when looking at someone else's work. I understand what they had to do to get that shot or sequence, the time it took to edit and so on.
Disney is coming out with a new movie called OCEANS. I don't think blah, it's just another nature flick. I look at the shots taken of sea life under the ice at one of the poles and I have a true appreciation for the people and the work that went into getting that shot.
I find it sad when someone's hard work isn't taken into consideration.
