most people can not handle that amount of money. I saw friends who built up a small business and sold it for $100k and within a month they were almost broke
my ex's parents inherited a bunch of money and they blew that in a matter of months too. they went from "getting by" to eating out every night spending $200-$300 on meals, buying a brand new car, vacation, etc. within a year they were broke
