yeah those new light bulbs help a lot, eating leftovers helps a lot. I'll cook a huge batch of spaghetti sauce and eat it with different pasta or ravioli for a few days. Buying in bulk helps tremendously. Not running to the convenience stores for a couple of items saves a lot of money too. Fast food and restaurants are way expensive, don't do those much at all.

and we are really good with turning things off around here. I open the blinds in the day for some pleasant natural light which is cooler anyhow. Our leveled electric bills are under $100 a month with central air running all the time in the summer. That's about the only thing we don't skimp on, but until it gets over 100 we don't really run it at night. I can't stand the humidity.

about to install some double pane windows to help with insulation too.
