Number 1 is important. Some designer will show you a pretty portfolio, and then when you put them to work nothing looks like their demos. I expect all work to look like demo provided.

I am not looking for a designer who just makes pretty designs, and can maybe cut them. I am looking for you to be able to also code and integrate them into client's scripts. Mainly MechBunny along with a few others.

Communication and time management is key. I am getting a lot of business from the boards, and off the boards, and honestly need someone who can keep up with the work load. You need to provide realistic deadlines, and keep them. My clients are not going to be as patient as I am.

While I understand that some of the better designers are going to be booked weeks in advance, my clientele simply is not going to wait that long frankly. Work needs to be turned around quickly.
