The fact that deRossi and others get away with it is the fault of FIFA. More eyes need to have command on the field, hence the NHL moving to two refs. Things over the years have changed, and thus the league needs to change in officiating. Get more eyes that can make proper calls and not all the blind views refs have from 1/4 field away guessing what they think they saw. |
Chris, agree that FIFA needs to do more about replays. That would help eliminate the practice of foul play from the game (play on words there...). Sorry yes you're right about Moxxx being the nitwit calling me names, my apologies.
At any rate, what did you think of the de Rossi dive though? In your honest opinion? Did you think that he embellished it? Have you seen italians do it before now in previous world cups?
