The only beef I have with NATS is you guys encode every PHP file with Ioncube, making small little modifications impossible. This has caused quite a bit of frustration with my clients before.
There are other, and better ways to go about it. For example, encode a few core library files, and inside of them, include a registration check which automatically runs at preset intervals (or randomly even). If the check fails, render the software unusable.
