burnout... ahhh my old nemesis. I get burned out hardcore on average of once every two or three years and it hits me hard. I will just sit at the computer trying to think of where to start but paralyzed by inactivity. I am fortunate in as much as I find it relatively easy to hit the reset and get back into things. Sometimes as little as a two day stretch of turning the computer off and not thinking about anything. Get me out of the house for a day and I get revved up and ready to go.
That is the absolutely best thing about my current situation. I work 7 days a week by choice and the guys I work with are flexible as hell. It actually makes me want to work more. But on any given day, if I feel sluggish and bored I know there is always a good race to watch on Sunday

it's the simple things in life that keep us fired up and productive. for you it may mean a month off, for me a relaxing weekend and an exciting Sunday afternoon
