Well, they get the basics from classes... such as "hi, this is photoshop and this is the brush tool" but thats usually the extent of it. The rest comes from creative practice and doing shit over n over while adapting new things to your methods.

Find a site you like. Take a day or two and recreate its detail in photoshop. Either duplicate or throw your own flare in and with doing thqat over time and time again...

You will teach yourself some things...

Dont depend on other to show you where and what to look for if youre really interested in this avenue... Just fuckin do it...
