A couple requirements:
- language - language is super important! People are not interested in the actual sex as much as listening to the bullshit! One can't forget this is more than jerking off in front of the screen.
- infrastructure - if you wanted to set this up in a Euro Trash country the services are usually:
i) expensive
ii) super bureaucratic setup
iii) quality sucks
- communicative talent
- zero drug policy - this is super important unless you want to broadcast zoo and get closed down by police, you need to test the talent regularly and kick them out anytime you caught them
So you have to be very careful with planning and need the pimp hand strong, it's very exhausting
It's over for me, I just don't ever want to run any 24/7 setup anymore, there are easier ways to make money

Everything is "potential"
You just want to have the lowest risk/investment with the highest potential rewards. I'd stake my 10+ year reputation and my time that if someone followed my advice this site would be very very successful and profitable. I'd work for 100% free on the deal for a very small % of ownership / profit share.
In the US would be ideal, a location where porn is ok, maybe Vegas or Socal ? That would make the internet access cheap and no BS. I tried to help someone wire up a whore house in Santa Damingo, the politics and trying to get the bandwidth to the building was next to impossible and very expensive... not worth it. The site I have invisioned wouldn't be hardcore, there is no need. Actually hardcore would hurt you more than help as it would alienate the mainstream members who weren't there just for the porn.
I'm just trying to give out enough to let people know this is truely a multi million dollar idea and HUGE ASSET to an existing ppm cam site company or big membership company who needs to diversify into other things than pics and vids. The successful people know that you need someone involved that knows what the hell they are doing to advise on how to set it up and how it should be run. If someone tried to take a couple nuggets from this thread and attempted to do it on their own they would very likely piss away all of their money and totally blow the idea and potential. I literally have hundreds of ideas for the project that would be kick ass, from promoting it, to getting affiliates to push it, to what it can ultimately evolve into, to intergration into their existing site. It needs to be done right, I would love to see it built.
I'm tired of having a shelf full of great ideas and never seeing them implimented. The most frustraiting part is it seems like everyone with a cam site or who is still left with money doesn't want to listen on ways to make more money. When ever I talk to site owners, i think they ignore everything I am saying and just reply back with ... " well what would I have to do to get you to send us your traffic"
This is a no brainer for a big cam site and salvation for a big picture and video membership site company.
