The online porn industry has done little innovating as far as the product is concerned in the 15 years I've been around it. Yes we have faster servers, sharper images, HD video and more content. That was innovation of the technical side and none of it down to the porn industry.
Even the way we drove traffic was about finding better ways to get more free content under the noses of potential buyers than it was about getting more people to buy porn. The industry needs to realise customers, or ex customers, make the decision of whether to buy or not to buy. We need to give him a lot more in 2010 than we did in 2005.
