How long are those domain names lol ! As Closer said... for a reason !

I am creating a BRAND... and I think the ones I posted are BRANDABLE, I actually am edging towards DickHeadFilms... however I am not sure how the term DickHead translates in the good old US...

It is not about how we serve the content... ie VOD, it is about the BRAND NAME associated with the production... I mean PLAYBOY is a brand right, it's not a discription of what they sell or how they sell it ! Damn did you just get schooled ?
I guess it is subjective. I think dickheadfilms is appallingly bad and I also think that trying to work a brand around a few domains you happen to have isn't so good business move either.

Anything is brandable. You just need to apply basic brand principles to it. Something I rarely see anyone in adult do. When was the last time you saw a Brand Bible or Style Guide for a porn company?

In the content delivery game, I would suggest having a domain name that gives you a leg up on google would be a good idea. No one types in DICKHEADFILMS to google.

This might be useful reading for you:

"Branding is a way of clearly highlighting what makes your product or service different to, and more attractive than, your competitors'.

A brand goes much deeper than just your company logo.

The intelligent use of design, advertising, marketing, service proposition, and corporate culture can all help to generate associations in people's minds that will benefit your business.

Branding is your attempt to harness these associations to help your business perform better. Any business or organisation can benefit enormously by creating an accurate brand, ie one that represents their true values. Therefore, it is important to always be clear about what your business stands for."

More

I would certainly suggest a Ronseal approach (does what it says on the tin) would be something that could differentiate you from other content providers.

It should be used as a transparant and global brand summing up exactly what you do so people are under no illusion as to the service you offer.

The trouble with launching a new brand in porn is that there is so little standout. Most companies look the same. You could swop out any logo on any ad in AVN and no one would notice.

Therefore, taking a totally transparent approach (ExclusiveVODContent) would give you that stand out.

Of course, if you prefer an English idiom that will not translate overseas and is something that is derogatory, then cool. Maybe that is the look you are going for, pardon my mistake.

Was just trying to offer some other thoughts. If they are not wanted, cool. But it seems strange to ask for opinions and then slag off someone for having the audacity to actually do what you asked for.

All the best
